By Lemony Snicket
Lazlo is terrified of the darkish. It hides in closets and infrequently sits in the back of the bathe curtain, yet in most cases it lives within the basement. One evening, whilst Lazlo' s nightlight burns out, the darkish involves stopover at him in his room. " Lazlo," the darkish says. " i would like to teach you something." And so Lazlo descends the basement stairs to stand his fears and find a few comforting evidence concerning the mysterious presence with whom all kids needs to learn how to live.
Beautifully rendered with sympathy and wit, this primary collaboration among Snicket and Klassen deals a clean tackle a common youth adventure.
