Kostyniuk exhibits in Canada and the United States. From 1965 to 1979 he has had nineteen one-person shows in centres such as the Glenbow Art Institute, Calgary, 1972; the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Fredericton, New Brunswick, 1973; the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art, Chicago, Illinois, 1973; and Mt. St. Vincent University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, 1975. He has also participated in many group shows, including Prairie Painters, the Edmonton Art Gallery, Edmonton, 1974; Our World, Confederation Centre, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, 1972; and the Seventh Biennal of Canadian Painting, National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario, 1968.

G He was awarded third prize in the international competition for the Katyn War Memorial, Toronto, Ontario, 1979, and permanent collections containing his work are the University of Alberta, Edmonton; Alberta House, London, England; Government House, Edmonton; and the Alberta Art Foundation, Edmonton.

Olson is currently an instructor of drawing and printmaking at the Alberta College of Art, Calgary. B His work has been purchased for permanent collections in Europe, the United States, and Canada, including the Indiana University Museum, Bloomington, Indiana; the Art Gallery of Brant, Brantford, Ontario; the Medical Art Gallery, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; the Pavilion d'Exposition, Krakow, Poland; the Canada Council Art Bank, Ottawa, Ontario; and the Al- berta Art Foundation, Edmonton. His work is also hung in nine United States embassies.
